Short, Direct and Powerful Scripture to begin the day

What can I say again about this author? This book is yet another wonderful compilation of necessary scripture as related to topics that play a part of our every day life. For every month of the year this book focuses on one topic, these are: Renewal, Contentment, Wholeness, Comfort, Joy, Integrity, Confidence, Patience, Wisdom, Encouragement, Maturity and Hope. His devotions hit the core of your heart, spirit and mind. They are short and can be read in your car or for morning prayer. They are all one page and have at least 2 scriptures that support the days teaching. I particularly like the questions posed at the bottom of each page. You are in a sense refreshed by the reading and then in a Godly way at times reproached and urged to check your own life and how the reading apples to you and others. There are hundreds of devotionals that have the same basic set up but this book in my opinion along with Oswald Chambers (My Utmost for His Highest) meets your need and encourages you to press forward. I bought mine used since none were available and I love it. It goes with me everywhere!
