Inspirational and touching stories!

I just finished reading "Patterns of the Heart" by Mrs. Bookner and thought it was absolutely wonderful! She managed to so interestingly share events and occassions of her 94 year old mother's life with such flair, excitement, humor and much love. I loved the similarities she used throughout the book, such as 'the years of one's life being like rings in an aging tree'. I found Ms. Bookner's different chapter stories of her mother's life to be so precious and interesting for not only Seniors (I am 81), but adults of all ages...and I couldn't put this book down until I finished reading it all!
