Pattern for Purpose: God's and Man's Designs

Why write a book on pattern? Are we only here for fun as some people think? You have to agree, we all go through life from birth to death governed by some sort of order. Even if you take one step forward and three steps backward you are going somewhere. If there was no pattern then this would result in uncertainty, lack of purpose and chaos; a choppy sea compared to a wave; everyone talking at once compared to one voice speaking. This book looks at different aspects of pattern created by humans or in nature itself. The dictionary definition of pattern relates to regularity. This regularity determines what I would like to call extansion i.e. what is still in existence; not extinct or destroyed or lost and what could remain forever and ever. Everywhere we look in nature and the world we find examples of pattern. This book illustrates some ways how we are influenced by pattern. Look around you and you will see what I mean. We all accept now as norm, we saw it as a child and it gave us rules for living but now only occasionally marvel at its beauty or appearance. Now is the time to reassess who you are, your beliefs and how you fit into this world of pattern
