One of the best collections of WWII era photos I have come across

This is one of the best collections of original photos from the World War II era I have seen. The majority of them are from the U.S. home front - I would call the book a "must have" for anyone for which that is a special interest - except maybe for one thing. The book does include a couple of pictures of dead servicemen which were controversial at the time, and seldom seen in modern collections of this sort. However, those pictures are very discrete for what they are, and are an important reminder of what war is, after all, about.
