A Man of Unwavering Courage

Alexei Navalny’s account of his own battles to improve his home country told in his characteristic intelligence and unabashedly direct language will inspire all that read it. Knowing how his battle ended I expected to be destroyed by the end of the book, but instead I was so changed for the better and actually felt more optimistic (rather, inspired) at his fortitude, grit, and humor in the face of such cruelty. You’ll learn much about Russian politics and authoritarian systems. I particularly enjoyed the many photos in the book that showed great insight into how ugly his political battles got as well as the terrific home life he loved so much. A true joy to read and one of my new favorite books!

Alexia Navalny Patriot- must read this book to understand Russia today

This is a gripping true story of a person who gave it all to try to wrest freedom from a brutal corrupt regime. His resolve and optimism through horrors is stunning. A must read for those who want to see what happened to Russia after Gorbachev.

Unbelievably amazing story. The author is complex so this is intense reading. Unforgettable.

Unbridled Courage

Alexei Navalny's photo should be in the dictionary as the definition of courage. His pursuit of freedom for all Russians makes him an honorary American, as in our forefathers. Russia lost the greatest citizen when they lost him. I hope Russia never forgets this man's love of country and sacrifice.
