Pathetic is about losing one's way and finding redemption in a place least expected. It is a story about understanding one's own worth and the peace that comes with it. It is learning to be at peace with one's own imperfections and understanding the sacred nature of every individual's journey.Kyle has set out on a journey, maybe a one way trip. He travels down the Baja Peninsula to find solitude. He reaches a cliff and suddenly finds himself in the middle of a violent storm. He is forced to reside in a small cave but finds that he is not alone. He is surrounded by dangerous creatures and must fight to stay alive through the dark and calamitous night. He soon finds wisdom and solace in an unexpected and strange friend that shares the cave with him. In one miserable night, Kyle struggles to find meaning in his life and endure strange bedfellows.The book Pathetic is a short classic novel meant to explore man's search for relief from his own imperfections and pathetic state. It is meant to redefine the word pathetic as a sacred state of the mortal experience.
