This work is designed as a mentoring tool for pastors. In the Pastoral Epistles, the apostle Paul is literally teaching, directing, discipling, and mentoring two of his maturing pastoral students. Each of these two pastors, having been placed in local church situations, facing their own unique set of circumstances, in two different cultural and geographical locations, is being helped in the fulfillment of his responsibilities by their concerned and compassionate mentor. All pastors, particularly young pastors, need help in carrying out their God-given privilege of shepherding a flock of people. The hope of offering this book is to provide a helpful "go to" practical tool for seasoned pastors to utilize as they reproduce themselves in the lives of younger men.
