This is a sequel to the book entitled, 'In His Journey to Fame'. In this awe-inspiring tale, Akwasi Densu, the heir apparent to the powerful Akokoduro stool, secretly plot to overthrow democratically instituted monarchy of his country. He therefore gives up his rightful claim to the throne of his birth in order to lead a group of faith induced individuals disgruntled by the introduction of a controversial 'religious tax' in the country to overthrow the corrupt monarch.
Despite introducing clean-up measures such as lie-detector tests to root out corruption in the society, the prince himself succumbs to the same corrupt behaviour as his predecessors and faces the consequences of his actions. In the process the prince died from a bizarre circumstance and the aftermath shock also killed Nana Addai, his biological father.
The kingdom of Akokoduro is thereby thrown into hopeless search for a successor; where nine princesses lock horns with the only surviving daughter of the deceased prince in a society, where polygamy is a rule; male king is a law and patrilineal inheritance is a norm.
