PASTORWhen my life was filled with crisis, leaving me shattered and feeling alone, everything broken in pieces, my heart heavy as stone, You were there. God's compassionate flicker shines in your eyes, Pastor. It's your gift, just something in your spark. The Lord keeps using your godly presence in my life, teaching me that He and I are never really apart. Pastor, when I hear your voice rise in prayer, I sense a shower of God's grace begin to fall. Then I know the Lord is working, removing my doubts, because I'm feeling you fulfill His call. I'm no prophet, and I can't see into the future, but I know we're all destined to face eternity. Each of us must kneel and give an account. You'll be ready, a report all laid out for God to see. Then the Lord will ask you, it's that question for which you've waited, "My servant, how shall thy works speak for thee?" If in that moment, I interrupt to sing your praises, try not to be offended, Pastor. When God asks that question, He doesn't expect you to answer. The voice He's really listening for is me.
