Pastor Jay is a story that would be enjoyed by any kid who has bunches of stuffed animals on their beds. Ellery, the main character of the story, has a little brother named Pastor Jay who loves talking about God...especially when it's night time and he is supposed to be sleeping. Pastor Jay preaches and preaches to all of Ellery's stuffies, and she has a TON of them, talking about all the wonderful things God has created. The stuffies take on personalities throughout the book, dreaming of going outside to see the things God has made. At the end of the story, Ellery reminds Pastor Jay that night time is a time for sleeping, not for preaching, and they should go back to sleep and talk about God in the morning.
