Past/Forward : The la Phil At 100

By: Derek Traub

Past/Forward: The LA Phil at 100 is a two-volume commemorative publication celebrating the centennial of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The first volume, Past, traces the organization's history through the voices of those who wrote it. The second volume, Forward, calls on the LA Phil's closest contemporary collaborators to reflect on what the next 100 years may bring for orchestral music, concert halls, composition, and performance itself.
