Very detailed and complete book

I love this book. It is very detailed and seems to cover every aspect of cruising with Disney. The book has information on the deck plans, fleet history, cruise budgeting, lodging, car rental, checking in, dining, dress, packing list, ports of call, ship activities, debarkation, and much more. Don't expect to read this book in a few hours. It is very detailed, but subjects of interest can be found by using the index, table of contents, or the "tabbed" topics on the edge of the pages. I highly ecommend this book.

Don't buy any other WDW cruise book

My first Disney Cruise Line trip was in December. I bought this book just after I'd reserved my stateroom, and thanks to the info in Passporter, I realised I'd made a mistake in my choice of room and was able to change it in time. This book is packed with a wealth of information about the Disney Cruise Line, including reviews on shore excursions, meals and activities. It also has pictures and room plans of the staterooms. Excellent!

I had heard about this book online and ordered it for the reviews of the different shore excursions and I am really pleased. I have cruised on the Magic, and I found that I totally agreed with what they advised. We will be doing the 7-day western cruise on the Wonder and I found a ton of valuable information. This is an excellent book whether you have cruised or not. I would recommend you get this book before you make reservations- especially if you are not familiar with the cabin choices and deck plans, etc. If you are already booked- the onboard tips and shore advise is priceless! Excellent publication!

Taking a Disney Cruise? This is the only book you need!

Once again, Jennifer Watson and Dave Marx have done an outstanding job with the new edition of the Passporter Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line! This volume is comprehensive, informative and easy-to-use. The authors are genuine Disneyphiles and their affection for all things Disney is evident in every page of this book. However, they are not blind to its (few) flaws and are careful to let readers know aspects of their trips did not meet their standards. This book is very carefully researched, right down to which meals and restaurants are the best, which cabins are quietest, which cabins have "secret" portholes and which on-shore excursions are best value for the money. Readers will really appreciate their insider tips on how to get the most from their Disney cruise. And the information in the book is regularly updated on the authors' website. I have been vacationing at Disney for decades and Passporter has been my vacation guide ever since they started publishing it. You're going to be spending thousands of dollars on your Disney cruise...spend a few dollars more and you'll be investing in a book that will really help you get the most out of your vacation. Passporter is outstanding and worth every cent!

Big Help for First Time Cruisers

I was able to easily find answers to all of my questions about our first ever planned cruise on Disney's Magic. Filled with things that would take forever to find on-line yourself. Tips and suggestions for things that I never would have thought of. Well worth the cost of the book.
