The premise of the this book is definately creative. A Stephen King caliber author lives in Colorado as a virtual hermit. He makes his thrice-yearly trip to the mailbox only to discover that all his business mail stopped four months earlier. Then he hears that "he" is coming public and will be interviewed on television -- but it's clearly someone pretending to be him. Then his house is blown up. He goes to watch the imposter's interview and meets with his agent's assistant. Instant sexual chemistry. The bulk of the book involves John's slow convincing of Teryl of his story and then their efforts to thwart the imposter. Overall, I enjoyed this book. It took a healthy dose of "suspension of disbelief" at times. The main characters are pretty appealing (though both are carrying unnecessary amounts of baggage). The sexual chemistry is bubbling and the encounters are well written. Bottom-line: a better than average romantic suspense novel for an entertaining read. "Passion" won a Romantic Time's Reviewer's Choice award for best romantic suspense.
A Winner...

I loved this story. I first thought the situation between the two main characters was hopeless. Miss Pappano put them in a real tight messy situation but how they ended up loving and trusting each other was very satisfactory. This is how love stories should be made. A truly exceptional story. I've read Suspicion and a Season for Miracles and I have never been disappointed. Each story was unique in its own. So, get comfortable, pull down the blinds, unhook the phone and let Miss Pappano tell you a wonderful story...
