Passenger transport demand analysis for the metro network

This work was presented as a requirement for the degree in Civil Engineering at the S o Carlos School of Engineering of the University of S o Paulo in 2015. It presents the Demand Analysis for passenger transport for the Salvador - BA metro network, based on the Origin/Destination survey carried out in 1995. The Four Stages model was used to model demand, focusing on Trip Generation and Distribution. Based on the results, the coverage of the current metro network was verified and a network was proposed that adequately served the main centres of the city of Salvador and boosted the migration of car users to the metro.
