On the sixth hour of Preparation Day of Passover, 9th of Nisan, 29 AD (see APPENDIXNOTE ONE, p. 30), while standing before the Chief Priests and officers and leaders of the nation ofJews, the fifth Procurator of Judea, Pilate, declared to those leaders of the Jews, "Behold your King"(John 19:14c [see the entire passage, vss. 1-18]). Perhaps the most important events to ever be recordedin all the annals of time and history are summed up in this 18 verse passage and those found in John, chapter 19. By the same token, some of the overall master planning and design of God which nodoubt were in His mind leading up to this horrendous event may have humanly been overlooked. Some of the direct and indirect effects of the Levitical regulations leading up to the preparations andthe actual crucifixion of Christ Jesus are extremely important in the "filling up [the] all righteousness"(Mathew 3:13-17) uttered to John the Baptist at the baptism of Jesus of Nazareth as He began Hisearthly ministry. Perhaps there are other major considerations or spin-offs heretofore unknown whichwill be uncovered from this brief study as they relate to the Levitical worship itself, Jewish historyand religion, basic theology, dispensationalism, soteriology, and eschatology.
