Learning to respond vs react

I love the concept of not reacting, but responding. Taking time to think about what situations are leading to undesired reactions, and planning a better response. It’s ok to not respond while figuring out the right response. Through scripture and prayer, and planning, it’s possible to calmly and effectively respond instead of give a quick answer that may be angry or not convey the message meant to be conveyed.
