Violence on television leads to aggressive behavior by children and teenagers who watch the programs. It bases this conclusion on laboratory experiments and field studies. It gave the parents and children attitude towards caste related violence and communal harmony analysed and interventions towards positive parental mediation towards attaining social orientation. This research paved way in assessing the intervention towards positive television mediation and the effectiveness of parents in mediating their children towards the better understanding of the portrayal of caste violence in media followed by the positive mediation by the parents towards social orientation to inculcate harmony in the young minds towards a harmonious society.
