Since the beginning of my career as an artist, my father has continuously written raps and rhymes to inspire me. I would come home from shows, and he would hand me fresh papers filled with verses he had written.
As an artist, I've always believed in writing my own words and performing my own material. But after all these years- and all the raps my father has written- I can clearly see the positive influence and spiritual acknowledgment instilled in me by my parents.
