On 14 February 1927 a normal railway journey from Withernsea to Hull ended in tragedy when it found itself facing a head-on collision with another train. The resulting crash outside Hull Paragon station left twelve passengers dead and many more injured, with local people racing to help and quickly becoming the heroes of the story. Now after almost a century the full story is being told, with never before seen photographs of some of those on that train and the culmination of the research leading to a new memorial plaque, Paragon '27 is the Valentines Day disaster that Hull has never forgotten.
