PARADISE began as a Contemporary Christian Rock Band in 1985. The original members of the band performed together in at least two other successful bands since 1977. During those early years, the members achieved notary and success including a Grammy Nomination. The band began experimenting with different sounds, expanding their audience by adopting a more secular genre. This novel is a work of fiction loosely based on the anecdotal stories and chronicles associated with those band members, and their tumultuous break-up in 1992. Each member walked away after recording what was arguably their most creative musical project. Only one cassette copy of the original recordings exists thirty years later. The analog and digital master tapes of their sessions have been lost or destroyed. PARADISE LOST is a fictional story about a band, a series of murders, and a missing drummer.
