I recently finished "Paradise Flawed" and enjoyed it very much. After a rather slow start it starts to move quickly. The story progresses nicely and keeps you wanting more. You will not want to put it down once you get into the action. It flows to a satisfactory conclusion.

This review is taken word for word from my foolish wisdom blog - "Paradise Flawed by Daniel Lance Wright is a captivating thriller that will keep you guessing until the end. Daniel has created some pretty fascinating and entertaining characters and poor Mike Hanson, stressed out from twenty years of working himself to the bone for Weaver Oilfield Tool & Supply he is burnt out. A good man with a wife who has lost herself all these years so wrapped up in her social circles and keeping up with her society ladies that she has left her marriage and personality wheedle away. The relationship Mike and Brenda have with their only daughter Jojo couldn't be more different than black and white. Jojo, a college student surprises Mike and since he has decided to take a vacation on a whim and a deep breath at life Jojo is more than happy to spend time with her dad and go along for the ride. Where are they headed? To Paradise Mountain Resort owned by Eldon and his daughter Katy, a widow trying to raise her thirteen year old son.Katy I like immediately, just a single mom trying to make it through the day worrying about doing right by her son and getting on with her life, leaving the grief behind. In the background there are a few shady deals going down, Barry Ezell is a ruthless man who wants Eldon's land and what it has to offer, and unbeknownst to Mike, he is in dealings with his boss, Mr. Weaver at OTS. When he learns that Mike is on his way to vacation at Paradise Mtn. Resort he thinks that Weaver is going to double-cross him for the mineral rights and like any barbarous villain he will do ANYTHING to make that not happen. It's all about money and if he has to extinguish a few lives, then so be it!When Mike and Katy met there is an instant attraction, although subtle, it's their and you can feel it, something is going to happen between these two. When a simple hike in the wilderness turns terrifying dangerous for Katy, Josh (her son), Mike and Jojo the plot thinking and the story really starts to speed up for me here. Needless to say the four find themselves trapped in an abandoned mine from the Civil War era with all their lives in danger and no way out. This is where Jojo shined for me, the girl was just tenacious and strong, nothing was going to get her down and she sure as hell wasn't going to die, or let the other parish in the mine. Oh, and on their attempt to find a way out they find that the mine is full of gold! The pieces start coming together in Mike's head slowly but more than that this is a turning point for him, he realized that his life and life in general is more about quality than quantity. And he wants to start living with a purpose, not just because he feels obligated to make everyone happy. Live life to be happy yourself, life, love, family. These are the things that matter. Nothing like a near death experience to make you realize that! There was an interesting back story and although you knew who the bad guy in this suspenseful tale is
