Great Book

We got this book from Grandma when our son was born 2.5 years ago. I have read it to him most nights and now he repeats some of the words. He loves it and asks for it by name. I love the fact that this is a book about a dad and his child. Most books are about mothers and their role, but this one is pleasantly about the fathers role. Great nightime book.

Pappa Knows the Secret

In our family, Dad is the at home parent and it was delighful to find a book that acknowledges the importance that Dad's insighths can have for a "little Bear". Jack adored this book for a long time and asked for it frequently. he even asked sometimes for "Pappa's Song" when he was having trouble falling asleep. Now that he's reading on his own, it doesn't come up as often -- but Dad and I still love it.

One of my favorites

This has been one of my favorite books to read as a bedtime story for years. My daughter is less interested in it now that she's almost five but it never gets old to me. I always like to give it as a baby shower gift. A beautiful book and soothing to read.

My four year old daughter and 1 1/2 year old son love this book. They bring it to us often to read. The story is perfect for bedtime and a joy to read. Highly recommended!
