Pals of the Silver Sage

Devoid of of human decency, Jeff Gray is stealing cattle from his recently orphaned six-year-old niece, Sugar. Jeff plans to bankrupt the ranch so that his boss, shady Vic Insley, can take over. All is going smoothly until cowhand Tex catches the thieves altering the brands on Sugar's herd. He concocts a clever plan to steal the Longhorns back from the rustlers. Tex will need to come up with a survival plan after the gang learns that their rustled livestock has completely vanished.

Tex Ritter's illustrious career as a singing cowboy actor earned him legendary status as a western screen star in the 1920s and 1930s and later as a popular recording artist best remembered for the iconic title theme to High Noon. This Monogram production was filmed on location at California's scenic Tejon Ranch and features Glenn Strange as outlaw boss Vic.
