Collection of four stories surrounding Mara the Vampire- a character derived from the Buddhist leanings - that being he is a character seeped in death and lust, encapsulated in a creative means as a Vampire. Mara is seated in hate of humanity, as they slaughtered his own beloved, the Queen of the Vampires: Naoko. He, like his brethren, are driven to royal decree that Humanity are their children- a by-product between demons and Vampires, yet Mara can never forget that his beloved was killed by humanity in the great purge of the Vampires. Now, as a representative of the few Vampires remaining, Mara is one of a small contingent that can fight the demons and succeed.

Witness as Mara confronts deadly demons, driven by his own lusts and needs of the flesh, hateful and disgusted by humanity as he fights on for a meaningful end to his endless existence.
