What happens when a child's only form of care is provided to them by those who also bring them harm? What is the distinction between reality and the unreal when a child's actions, however extreme, are left unnoticed; or even worse dismissed as lies. PAIR is a fiction story about a child's struggle to make sense of their suffering and salvation when their cries to the outside world are ignored. It is a tale of cycles and the often-entangled nature of abuse, where starting anew may come at a cost.
