Demonstrates how to paint folk art flowers using ten acrylic colors and thirteen basic brushstrokes, and includes eight step-by-step projects. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Enid's book is very inspiring and her technique is not difficult to learn. With practice you can paint beautifully blended flowers in no time, with one stroke of the brush. It is all in how you load the brush and she shows how to do this step by step. This is one book for those who don't want to buy a lot of brushes or paints. The end result is astonishing...I can whip up a floral bouquet in no time with Enid's technique and her explicit instructions. If you have a hard time with float-shading...this book is for you!!
I've used this book over and over again!

Enid's style of painting takes practice, but speaking as someone who prefers immediate gratification, the improvement in my overall technique was well worth the effort. I refer back to the book to refresh my memory for specific details and for design ideas over and over. It's one of my favorite references.
An excellent resource for the beginner decorative painter.

This is an excellent book for those just starting out as decorative painters and challenging enough for the most experienced artist. The step-by-step drawings and detailed descriptions of stroke-work and paint combinations makes this book a wonderful resource guide. Truly a garden of painted delights!
