Pain Is Winning is a story about my life and how I overcame adversity, loss and pain. I watched my mother get physically and verbally abused for many years. I was born with a disability called cerebral palsy. I lost my grandmother and within six months, I sadly lost my mother in a tragic car accident caused by a drunk driver. I lived in poverty and was exposed to all sorts of darkness during that time: violence, drug dealing and gang violence. Through it all, I have been able to overcome these obstacles by trusting in GOD and holding his hand when times got rough.
