The use of case presentations is a proven and popular means of revising for postgraduate examinations and this latest volume on paediatrics should prove a valuable addition to the candidate's booklist. Designed primarily for medical graduates taking postgraduate examinations in paediatrics, the book comprises some sixty case histories with questions, followed by a list of ideal and alternative answers. All the case histories are based on actual patients treated by the authors, although anonymity has been maintained. Although aimed primarily at the Membership candidate, this book should prove a useful purchase for candidates taking other examinations, as well as those interested in clinical and academic paediatrics.
