On July 9th, 2155, the world was forever changed. Total nuclear war descended upon the human race, annihilating all life except for a lucky few aboard the Nautiquarium, an underwater refuge designed to withstand nuclear fallout. On that fateful night, Dr. Thomas Winters sank the Nautiquarium off the coast of Cali-Nevada, exiling the human survivors to the bottom of the ocean. Or so everyone thought. Now the year is 2179, and Buoy, son of one of Dr. Winters' top scientists, mistakenly goes to the surface after his water bike malfunctions. There, he finds not a wasteland, but a thriving metropolis, full of people and life. Buoy quickly discovers that everything he has been told is a lie, and must figure out how he will save his home from a new threatening presence stalking the Pacific.
