First published in 1967, Ozark National Scenic Riverways by Eunice, D.D. and Albert Pennington is about Missouri's first National Park. It tells the complete story of when the park was established the land and waterways involved along with its history, plant life, and wildlife. Albert covered the wildlife, including several pictures, D.D. wrote the part concerning soils and Eunice did the historical part of the manuscript. While this book is outdated it is a great gift for history buffs. It was republished as part of the Pennington Book Series. Due to questions and requests for more information, Albert's daughter BJ will be releasing a revised edition-- hopefully in 2025.
