Excellent English Book for Computer Users

This same book is published in P. R. China by Peking University Press under the original title, with the addition of Chinese renditions of the texts. Covering comprehensive topics of computing in a sound linguistic perspective, the book stands as one of the best of its kind. Besides the text,which is both linguistically well structured and technically applicable, I found Lanugage Focus and Listening Materials particularly instructive and informative. Further, the Appendix of Letter Writing is well organized and proves to be practically convenient. What remains to be added in the next edition is the Internet and WWW and other related topics.I used the textbook in a one-term course of Professional English, and my students and I found it highly recommedable.
