This Is A Wonderful Children's Book

This is a delightful children's book about how the snowy owl got its feathers. It is suitable for children of all ages and has wonderful illustrations by Shannon Cartwright. I hope Lou Gallop will write more wonderful children's books in the future [and although I might be a bit biased as seeing how my mom used to teach with Ms. Gallop] I would say that this is one of the best Alaskana kids books out there [right up there with Mama, Do You Love Me]. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys quality children's stories paired with first rate illustrations.
