A Nocturnal Substitute Teacher!

This book wisely finds fun ways to present interesting info on owls in a story that will make readers laugh while they learn. Since the substitute teacher is nocturnal, he leads the class outdoors at night. The regular classroom teacher returns, and the kids end up hoping the owl substitute will come back in the future. The illustrations perfectly capture the book's humorous spirit.
