For longer than three decades, a mysterious and controversial treasure hunt known as the 'Golden Owl' had remained unsolved. A bronze replica of the 'Golden Owl' was buried somewhere in France, which when recovered could be exchanged for the 'Golden Owl' prize. The treasure map, a book containing eleven enigmas and artworks, when solved would reveal to the hunter the exact location where the bronze owl was buried. Only one person knew the burial site of the bronze owl, the creator of the enigmas, the mastermind behind the hunt, a man named 'Max Valentine'. Sadly, Max passed away in 2009, taking with him the truth of the owl's resting place. A sealed envelope was the only clue to the owl's location and the solution to the enigmas. A bronze owl was recovered in October 2024, the prize claimed, with the solution to the enigmas revealed in April 2025. The recovered owl was not the original owl buried by Max, and the solutions revealed did not match many of the additional clues left by Max before he passed. The 'Owl of the Knights' is my story. A journey of discovery, leading to the true solution of the 'Golden Owl' hunt.
