Overstating His Case: Refuting Friedman's Fact

In the mind of Dr. Richard Elliott Friedman, the Documentary Hypothesis is now a fact. He offers three lines of evidence to support his assertion. The purpose of this study is to provide a proper refutation of all three lines of evidence. Specifically, I intend to show that the first two lines of evidence are invalid and that the third line, at best, shows that the Hypothesis is plausible, and, at worst, shows that Friedman did not write his book, Who Wrote the Bible? Friedman, therefore, is overstating his case.
