Overriding The Darkness

Liza was living the dream life with her husband, Jason, and the future held promises for them both. But when tragedy strikes, it doesn't stop with the loss of her husband. The trauma continues over the next couple of years, pulling Liza deeper and deeper into a terrible depression which she can't seem to climb out of.

Her cousin, Jackie, who is always there for her, eventually brings Liza into her home to help care for and rescue Liza from the darkness. However, just as Liza begins to find normalcy again, she's held captive against her will and locked in a malodorous, dark closet.

Time is running out as everyone searches for Liza, and she is met with the prospect of dying alone. With plenty of opportunity to think, she promises herself that if she should make it out of the closet alive, she will make the most of her life. But the clock is ticking and Liza is unsure if she will ever override the darkness that has haunted her for so long.
