To many people, it does not make sense to believe in God's word, when they can apply their own abilities and earthly contacts to get what they want. They see that it makes more sense living by sight than living by faith. So even though they are saved, they tend to rely more on their feelings and natural abilities and not on God's word for the things they need. This book is written with the intention of helping us understand the basic principles of faith so that we can take the bold step of relying on God's word for answers to our prayers, especially in the times when it does not make sense to believe in His word.
