Western philosophy colors everything about us and once we understand it, we can see the way it has spread into our lives with the Lord Jesus. I pray we see why the Church seems so irrelevant for the western world today. Of all the deceptions we could identify, this is a shot to the heart-religious pluralism unconsciously rules most of our thinking about God and rules out the lordship of Christ. I have written for those already familiar with the Bible. There are some passing references to biblical characters, passages, and truths that may be lost on those who are new.
