There's never a dull moment at New Kapington High School. The students' test scores, the music programs, and the athletic program are all outstanding, and the teaching staff is, for the most part, exceptional-although some of them occasionally find themselves caught up in crazy controversies. Twenty-five-year-old English teacher Patricia Dooble is one of the cool faculty members. Although her behavior and clothing are a bit risqu , students know they can trust her. Another young teacher, Daniel Gardelo, runs a popular restaurant on the weekends. It's mid-May, and everyone is just trying to make it to the end of the term. But soon the school is embroiled in a series of wild events: a leaked sex video, an accidental pregnancy, a school shooting, a suicide by fire, and a bomb threat. There's no telling what will happen next. In this play as the school year winds down, teachers, students, and community members experience a variety of shocks, scandals, and tragedies.
