The foothills of Appalachia linger tall over this story of self discovery and reflection. Our two protagonists, Hoyt and Theo, search through Hoyt's past to set themselves on a path to enlightenment. Theo, a local journalist, looks for interesting characters to interview in hopes of providing his readers a look into worlds they may not know ever existed. Hoyt is a corporate slave who longs for the days of his youth where he lived a simpler existence in Appalachian Ohio. When the two meet, Hoyt has had his fill of the day to day and is searching for a way to break free, he just doesn't know it yet. As their friendship grows both men begin to realize they lack a fulfillment which they have the means to attain, but only if they're brave enough to pursue it. Follow along as Hoyt shares stories with Theo of the past from his front porch, oft accompanied by his wife Mrs. Betty, and our troubled twosome finds purpose and freedom how they'd least expect it.
