Children 3yr and older love and grasp this story. I love the way Rachael Isadora is able to write a very thoughtful story in a way that instills the skill of mindfulness in the reader. Also, her illustrations are very wonderful and intelligent. This book is worthy of the young reader and the grown up that shares it too. It is also a beautiful cultural lesson! Cheers to Rachael Isadora! And thanks to her for her model for what a young learners book can be.
