First, in the interest of full disclosure: I have known Jack Roseman for several years. He served as a mentor to me when I was running my own startups in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and I also graduated from his Entrepreneurial Management Program at Carnegie Mellon. Jack's advice has been invaluable to me throughout my life -- both professionally and personally. I have the utmost respect for Jack and his uncanny ability to always ask the most pointed questions that make you think and help you to reach your own decision on what is the right thing to do in any particular business or personal situation. In Outrageous Optimism, Jack Roseman and Steve Czetli have captured the "essential Jack Roseman". It's a book full of quality advice for the entrpreneur wrapped in an easy to digest anecdotes form in Jack's signature humorous style. I would recommend this book to any entrepreneur as required reading. If you haven't had the good fortune to interact with Jack in person, at least don't deprive yourself of the opportunity to share and learn from his experiences by readng this book.
