Most people would love to know what is going to happen in the future; Christians know that the Bible is the key to understanding prophetic future events and the end of the world. However, Christians also tend to believe that Biblical prophecy is too complicated and academically rigorous for the average person to grasp; they must sort through and piece together many mysterious seventieth week events such as the Great Tribulation, the Rapture, the Antichrist and the second coming of Christ. Because of this, there is a tendency by those who write books on end times prophecy to oversimplify and answer difficult questions by guessing or using weak, unproven and even incorrect theories. Those who have already adopted a certain position within these theories tend to write books that push that position instead of letting the reader make up their own mind. Most of these books fail to give us a clear view of what God reveals to us in Bible prophecy. Having a desire to cut through all this noise, this book was written to keep analysis as close as possible to what the Bible actually says about the future as simply and as uncomplicated as can be explained. At those places where the Biblical picture is not clear, different and competing theories are examined to judge their strengths and weaknesses. The Bible is surveyed prophetically from Genesis to Revelation, but the study is mostly concentrated on Daniel, the four Gospels and Revelation. This book strives to present, without bias or over-generalization, all important points (with charts) in a compact read of a mere 191 pages. End time prophecy is not a spectator sport: those of us who believe in Jesus Christ are participants and should remember that God is going to transform the world, but he is also transforming each one of us. The purpose of this book is to help us clearly see this future metamorphosis.
