Rural Life in the Midwest

This book is a delightful autobiography of a lady who was born in rural Illinois nearly 80 years ago. Throughout her very active life, she has been a farmer's daughter, teacher, farm wife, special education instructor (with a master's degree), and ordained minister. These varied occupations have led to a host of life experiences which she shares with the reader. It is very entertaining, and for most of us who have not lived on a farm or in a rural setting, it gives great insight as to that kind of life-style. The author's writing style is like an interesting story-teller around a camp-fire; it keeps you wanting to turn the page and find out more adventures of this intriguing lady and her family.
