Outer Space Dog

In the early days of space exploration sisters Sydney and Carmen agree to allow their father, who is the head scientist at the space agency, to send the family dog Jessie on a one week trip around the moon. Something goes wrong, and the rocket ship with Jessie in it is flung into deep space. The scientists do all they can to retrieve the rocket, but time, and Jessie's oxygen, are running out. Although the situation looks hopeless, Carmen and Sydney, and many people around the world, don't give up hope, and they are rewarded with an ending that surprises everyone
