Out of the Lunchbox Volume 2: Prayers from my Journal

This is Volume 2 of the Out Of the Lunchbox, series. Like Volume 1, it builds on the theme from Mike's first book Drummer Boy's Lunchbox, which is smorgasbord of poems, prayers, stories, Bible verses, questions, and other writings. In contrast, Out of the Lunchbox 1 & 2 are composed mainly of prayers from Mike's journal. These prayers fed his faith and soul, often, as he reviewed a few of them each day as a part of his devotions.

Eventually, it occurred to him, that if these prayers helped him to grow in faith and love, if they were helpful in reminding him of God's great love and forgiveness, then perhaps they might be helpful to others as well. Despite some trepidation, it was clear; it was time to ask God's blessing, take these "morsels" out of the "lunchbox," and share them with the world.
These are not carefully or eloquently crafted prayers, but rather Mike's heartfelt ponderings, praises, and requests, "free written," morning by morning and collected over the years. His hope is that they will feed your faith and soul also and help to nourish your own authentic prayer life
