The book follows the narration of the main character, Neil, who is studying part-time to be an accountant while holding down a full-time position as an Articled clerk at an accounting firm. Therefore, it is up to him now to take his discovery to his supervisors and find ways to link the transgressor to the embezzlement. What happens along the way is a story of love, unity, celebration, disappointment, shock, mystery, and surprise all in one.
