MORE ROMANCE? THAN ACTION

Special Agent Will Bishop was after the one woman who could testify and put a brutal kill behind bars. Now he thinks he has found her. On a Colorado retreat called Healing Hearts that she founded. He was going to see her and nothing was going to stand in his way. He was positive that he had found Crystal. It has been four years since his partner was killed and he was scarred from the blast. He figured he would get to meet the recluse through the counsler, Abigale Sullivan. He started with friendly overtures and then met Abi's son, Adam who didn't seem to bother except with a lot of questions about Will's face. Every once in a while he got the feeling that either he or Abi was being followed. And he set out to protect this young mother who was wary of him. Vince Collucci was also looking for Crystal. She has stolen half a million of his money. Vince was out for revenge. Robbins didn't want to lose another agent but he allowed Will [twice divorced] to attend the retreat and suggested that Will get into a little counseling. Excellently written - good characters - moves a bit slow with setting up the relationship between Will and Abi - plot subject good. Good read for a boring day.
