Out of A Darkening Sky

By Norma Jolliffe

It was their first mother/daughter vacation for the two recent widows. Riana is recovering from brain surgery and for her mother Clare, this as a homecoming after more than thirty years in Canada. The trip had been carefully planned to include a stay at a B&B in the British Stately home that had been prominent in Clare's British life. Both of them were excited to be spending time together and Riana was especially looking forward to learning about her heritage that until then had been a blank hole in her own growing up. Secrets about which her parents never spoke.

Their plans were shattered, by the Third Baron of Donaghmore who comes out of the October mist to disrupt all Riana's plans to visit her parent's birthplace. She needed to know why they had left England and why neither had spoken of their past life.
