An entertaining, inside glimpse of Jesuit training.

I first read Frank Peters' book "Ours" ten years ago. I have read it several times since then, and still find it a fascinating piece of "coming of age" writing. The uncertainty and wonder of beginning a life in "The Society" when he was only 18 is clearly and humorously told. The friends Mr. Peters makes and characters he meets while at St. Andrew on Hudson Seminary are typical of all adolescents, except for their special schooling and desire to become Jesuit fathers. A perfect appertitif
